AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY DEVELOPS INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE OF PEDAGOGICAL EXPERIENCE THROUGH THE ORHUN PROGRAM
As part of the ORHUN academic mobility program, Professor Gayan Nurakhmetovna Gubaidullina conducted a series of classes for students of Kokand University and delivered a master class for faculty members of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology.
On October 12–13, in accordance with the approved program, the professor conducted practical classes for second- to fourth-year students of the Psychology, Special Education, and Foreign Language educational programs. The classes were aimed at deepening pedagogical knowledge, developing critical and creative thinking, and strengthening the professional competencies of future specialists.
While studying the topic “Teaching and Assessment Process,” particular attention was paid to the use of interactive teaching methods and modern approaches to organizing the educational process. Students became familiar with the six levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy: remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. Each level was illustrated through specific learning tasks, allowing students to trace the progression from reproducing information to independent analysis, argumentation, and the development of their own ideas.
The practical part of the class included group work, completion of assignments, and the development of assessment criteria. The methods used helped students systematize their knowledge, increase learning engagement, and develop independent study skills.
Particular attention was also paid to the age-related characteristics of imagination development among school-age children and to identifying pedagogical conditions that support the development of creativity, imagination, and learner independence. Tasks involving the creation of unusual stories, transformation of familiar objects, and the search for non-standard solutions allowed students to demonstrate creativity and apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
Team-based tasks and elements of gamification contributed to increased motivation, the development of communication skills, critical thinking, and effective collaboration. At the end of the session, participants reflected on the effectiveness of the methods used and discussed opportunities for applying them in their future teaching practice.
An important part of the program was a master class for faculty members of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology entitled “Transformation of Teaching and Assessment: New Approaches.” The event focused on current issues related to improving the educational process, introducing modern educational technologies, and applying practice-oriented teaching methods. The master class became a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience, and discussion of prospects for the further development of teaching practice.
The classes were conducted in an atmosphere of active interaction and dialogue, helping to create a supportive learning environment and increase participants’ engagement with the topics discussed.
The completion of the ORHUN academic mobility program was marked by a review of the work carried out and the presentation of a certificate to Gayan Nurakhmetovna Gubaidullina.
The implementation of the program is important for developing interuniversity cooperation, exchanging pedagogical experience, and promoting modern educational practices. Academic mobility helps strengthen professional ties between universities, improve the quality of the educational process, and expand international academic cooperation.
The ORHUN academic mobility program became an important stage in strengthening cooperation between Amanzholov University and Kokand University, opening new opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional development, and the improvement of educational activities.
