THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD – RECTOR GULZHAN JARASSOVA AWARDED THE “EREN EŃBEGI ÜSHIN” MEDAL

Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented The Chairman of the Board – Rector Gulzhan Jarassova of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University with the “Eren eńbegi üshin” medal.

The state award recognizes her significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s higher education system, its modernization, and the enhancement of its competitiveness.

Gulzhan Jarassova initiated the development of an interuniversity standard for the use of artificial intelligence in higher education institutions of Kazakhstan. She also leads working groups responsible for revising the concept for the development of teacher education and preparing a concept for engineering education. Another significant area of her work is participation in developing the foundations for the introduction of an Industrial PhD system designed to strengthen cooperation between science and industry and expand opportunities for the practical application of scientific achievements.

Under the Rector’s leadership, Amanzholov University continues to improve its educational and scientific activities, strengthen its research potential, introduce artificial intelligence technologies, and expand international partnerships. These initiatives contribute to the University’s development and its integration into the modern international educational environment.
