BOARD OF DIRECTORS VISITED ALMA MATER
The meeting of the faculty and students with the members of the Board of Directors was held in the S. Amanzholov University of Management. In particular, with the new Chairman Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov, public figure Talgatbek Abaidildin, General Director of Felix Astana LLP Bayan Toykebayeva and Rector of the university Mukhtar Tolegen.
During the dialog platform Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov told the audience about the main activities of the Board of Directors, and also noted the positive dynamics of development of the alma mater in the field of science, sports, academic and social activity in recent years.
Such success depends not only on the professionalism of the rector, vice-rectors and faculty, but also on the involvement of students. It is a full-scale and systematic work of the entire staff and student population. I wish further prosperity to ECU, – said Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov.
It should be noted that the meeting was held in an interactive format. The attendees asked questions, shared their wishes and raised topical issues. Thus, an employee of EKU asked Bayan Toikebayeva, General Director of Felix Astana LLP, what advice she could give to EKU graduates when finding a job.
-First of all, you should thoroughly study the company to which you sent your resume. Afterwards, I advise you to prepare specific proposals on how to improve work processes in this company. Present yourself to a potential employer competently. In addition, in megacities every competitive specialist knows at least three languages, so learn languages, guys,” Ms. Toykebayeva concluded.
Within the framework of the working trip the members of the Board of Directors were presented to the SIC “Surface Engineering and Tribology” and Startup Academy. The guests noted excellent material and technical equipment of laboratories and wished the scientists of the university “progressive ideas and successful realization of projects”.
The Board of Directors is a management body, which is formed by electing its members at the general meeting of participants (shareholders). The tasks of the Board include internal audit, corporate governance, etc.
