STUDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY – CHAMPION OF THE INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT!

The International Kickboxing Tournament held in India witnessed the participation of over 10 countries worldwide. In the weight category up to 75 kilograms, Maksat Erlanuly, a 2nd-year student enrolled in the “Physical Education and Sports” program, clinched the championship title, showcasing remarkable prowess.

Reflecting on his journey, Maksat shared insights into the intense competition, particularly highlighting the memorable final bout against a seasoned contender from Iraq.

“I dedicated substantial effort to prepare for this tournament,” remarked Maksat Yerlanuly. “Adhering diligently to my personal trainer’s guidance proved instrumental in propelling me to the finals and ultimately securing the championship.”

Having commenced his kickboxing journey at the age of 11, Maksat harbors ambitious aspirations for future triumphs on the international stage, aiming to etch his name in the annals of higher-level competitions.
