NATIONAL LOVERS’ DAY WAS CELEBRATED IN EKU

In EKU Higher College named after S. Amanzholov. S. Amanzholov held creative events timed to celebrate the national Valentine’s Day.

The youth of the country celebrates this day, named after the heroes of the epic “Goat-Korpesh and Bayan-Sulu” on April 15. The Kazakh lyro-epic poem tells about the tragic love of a young man and a girl. This date became Kazakhstan’s Valentine’s Day and is considered a symbol of family values and friendship.

As the students noted, the story of Kozy Korpesh and Bayan Sulu has not lost its relevance in our time. Therefore, attracting attention to this national legend is very important.

Contests, games, romantic theatrical performances and a concert were organized as part of the festive events.
