DUAL DEGREE EDUCATION: NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to receive two equivalent diplomas within the framework of the double-diploma education program. To date, Amanzholov University cooperates with Altai State University (Russia) and Vytautas the Great University (Lithuania).
We remind you that in 2023, master students of the educational program “Informatics” Adlet Amangeldin and Almas Aset, as well as master student of the educational program “Physics” Aruzhan Tolykbaeva successfully completed studying at Altai State University. In 2024, Tomiris Medetkyzy, a student of the educational program “Accounting and Audit”, received a coveted document at Vytautas the Great University (Kaunas, Lithuania).
According to the university development program this year it is planned to implement two programs of double-diploma education with universities from TOP-700 of QS rating. In addition, in October 2023, agreements were signed on the implementation of double degree programs with the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio in the fields of “Physical Education and Sports”, “Economics”, as well as with the University of Genoa in the programs “Pedagogy. Inclusive Education” and ‘Tourism’ programs. Studying on these programs will begin in the coming academic year. Agreements have also been signed for the following specialties: “Mathematics,” ‘Pedagogy and Psychology,’ ‘Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education,’ ‘History,’ and ”Geography.
In the near future, it is planned to develop double degree programs in Biology and Geography in cooperation with the Pomeranian Academy (Poland).
