– Now there is an unreasonable rise in prices for goods and problems with the entry of domestic enterprises to foreign markets. We have studied the commodity structure of perishable products and the state of logistics infrastructure. The analysis shows the need to update the infrastructure for storing perishable products, taking into account the nature of their arrival for storage,’ the professor said.
Currently, Zhanarys Raimbekov together with East Kazakhstan University doctoral student Aigerim Rakhmetulina are developing mechanisms for the functioning of logistics infrastructure for perishable products of small business forms and efficient supply chains.
According to them, the mechanisms based on the use of digital technologies will contribute to the transition of the logistics system to a new level. The results will improve the efficiency and accessibility of logistics infrastructure functioning.
The socio-economic effect will be to ensure stable supply chains of perishable products through the aggregation of products of small farms into single integrated centres, as well as integration with centres for the collection and accumulation of primary perishable products and distribution centres.
