EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY STUDENT WON A BRONZE MEDAL IN CHINA

A first-year student of the educational program “Physical Culture and Sports” became a bronze medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling for the first time at an international tournament in China. In the city of Xi’an Alinur Bekenov performed in the weight category up to 65 kg. Athletes from China, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and others took part in the sporting event.

The purpose of the tournament is to increase the interest of Asian countries in this sport.
