MORE THAN 1,500 STUDENTS STUDIED AT UNIVERSITIES IN EASTERN KAZAKHSTAN UNDER THE “SERPIN” PROGRAM

To date, 444 people study at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University under the “Serpin” program, which involves training students from labor-abundant, mainly southern regions. The main areas of study are pedagogy, technology and food processing, nuclear physics and a number of others.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duisenova visited the project office of the program, she talked to the students and noted that “Serpin” is a great opportunity to get higher education in demanded specialties. In addition, the university plans to train and employ specialists in the sectors where there is a shortage of personnel.
During the 10 years of the project implementation, 1122 students have graduated, and the employment rate, according to the data of the Serpin Project Office, is 97%.
Many graduates after graduation stayed to live and work in East Kazakhstan, they were employed in various organizations of the region.
