PARTICIPANTS OF THE DECEMBER EVENTS MET WITH STUDENTS

S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a meeting of Decembrists with students. Gulzhan Abdygalieva, Bolatbek Tantybayev, Dinara Samulturova and Bayan Aubakirova were the speakers of the event. They shared with the students their life experiences and reflections on the importance of education and culture.

According to the students, the meeting was an inspiring event that allowed them to discuss the important ideas of freedom and knowledge for the future of the country.

Recall, the December 1986 events are the Kazakh youth demonstrations that took the form of mass popular protests against the decisions of the ruling Communist Party.
