HOW EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ANNUALLY REVIVE KAZAKH CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS

A mass presentation of Kazakh customs and traditions was organized by members of the Student Parliament and the Youth Affairs Committee. The annual event is held in the format of a creative competition between four Houses of Students. According to Dinmuhammed Serikbay, chairman of the Youth Committee, the main purpose of the event is to promote culture, art and national values of the Kazakh people among young people.

-Every year we organize such a competition among those who live in student houses. Absolutely all participants are always very creative. Guys from the first dormitory demonstrated the custom “Besikke Salu”, from the third dormitory – “Kyz uzatu”, from the fourth Student House – “Betashar”, and from the fifth – “Tusaukeser”, – said Dinmuhammed Serikbai.

It should be noted that the results of the competition will be known on April 4 at a large-scale celebration of Nauryz-2025 in East Kazakhstan University. Rector Mukhtar Tolegen will personally award the participants and winners of the creative competition.
