UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVE WON THE “BOLASHAK” SCHOLARSHIP
According to the results of the decision of the Republican Commission for training abroad Acting Head of the Department of Strategy, International Cooperation and Accreditation Dana Nigmanova became the owner of the international scholarship “Bolashak” for scientific training.
Dana Nigmanova will go on a 10-month scientific internship in the UK at the University of Leeds, which is in the top 100 best universities in the world and according to QS WUR 2026 takes 86th position.
The internship will take place from September 15, 2025 to July 10, 2026 in the direction of information and digital technologies in the socio-humanitarian sphere. The main theme of the study will be: ‘Human-centered digital transformation’.”
The aim of the internship is to integrate ethical considerations and technological advances. In partnership with various schools and institutes at the University of Leeds, digital transformation and the inclusion of the human factor will be analyzed.
The research internship will allow Dana Kumarkyzy to study international best practices, expand her professional competencies and strengthen academic cooperation with foreign educational and research organizations.
The Bolashak program traditionally supports talented specialists who make a significant contribution to the development of science, education and economy of Kazakhstan. Participation in an internship at one of the world’s leading universities will be an important stage in Dana Kumarkyzy’s professional and scientific activity.
