AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HOSTED A LECTURE AGAINST DROPPING

In the student residence of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, specialists from the Department of Economic Investigations of the East Kazakhstan Region conducted a lecture for students. During the meeting, first- and second-year students were informed in detail about how to counter one of the most common types of financial fraud — dropping — and about the importance of recognizing it in time.

Experts explained the reasons behind the spread of dropping among young people and presented specific examples of the legal consequences of such offenses. Special attention was given to increasing financial literacy, being cautious with suspicious online offers, and knowing one’s rights.

The event was organized as part of the “LAW AND ORDER” initiative. More than 50 students participated in the lecture. The youth showed great interest — they actively asked questions and received clear, detailed answers. The meeting proved to be both engaging and useful, contributing positively to the development of students’ legal awareness.

At the end of the event, lecturers and students exchanged opinions and discussed current issues of financial and cyber security. Participants emphasized the importance of holding such meetings regularly and expressed interest in further improving their legal literacy.
