INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

On April 24, 2026, an international student scientific conference titled “The Role of Youth in the Study and Preservation of Altai Heritage” was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The purpose of the conference was to strengthen the role of youth in researching and preserving the heritage of Altai, support the scientific initiatives of young researchers, and develop international cooperation.

Scientists, lecturers, young researchers, and students from Kazakhstan and Mongolia took part in the scientific event. The conference was organized by the “Altaitanu” Research Center and the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the university.

At the opening ceremony, welcoming speeches highlighted the importance and relevance of studying Altai heritage. During the plenary session, students and young scientists presented reports on digital heritage, intercultural relations, ethnocultural traditions, and tourism.

Among the presented works were studies on “Preservation of Altai Heritage: The Mission of Youth in the Digital Era,” “The Potential of Intercultural Cooperation of the Greater Altai Countries,” as well as research devoted to modern tourism and the possibilities of artificial intelligence.

The conference became a platform for exchanging experience, discussing scientific ideas, and strengthening international ties among young researchers. As a result of the event, the important role of youth in the development of science and preservation of cultural heritage was especially emphasized.
