UNITY CELEBRATION BRINGING JOY TO CHILDREN HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

A festive event dedicated to May 1 — the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan — was organized at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University within the framework of a cooperation memorandum and in honor of the 10th anniversary of the “Ak Niet” boarding school.

The celebration took place at the “Dana Bala” Center for Continuing and Inclusive Education. The program was prepared by students of the Department of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy (3rd-year Defectology students, 3rd-year Ergopedagogy students, and 1st-year Special Pedagogy students) under the guidance of lecturers G.K. Kilybayeva, A.Sh. Akhayeva, K.D. Kanapiyanova, B.E. Turymtayeva, and D.M. Yesimkhanova.

The program for children was rich and engaging. As part of the event, national games of the peoples of Kazakhstan were held, and traditions of various ethnic groups were presented. In addition, dances, riddles, and fun interactive games were organized, giving children vivid emotions. The celebration was held in an atmosphere of friendship, joy, and sincere laughter.

Such events help foster respect for the culture and traditions of the people of Kazakhstan among the younger generation and strengthen the values of unity, friendship, and mutual understanding.

For the students, organizing the event became important practical experience and an opportunity to develop professional skills. They enriched their experience by successfully conducting another public event. The children received many positive impressions and left in a cheerful mood.
