AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY: A MEMORIAL CEREMONY WAS HELD

A memorial ceremony dedicated to an outstanding scholar and veterans of the Great Patriotic War was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The event took place near the monument to the scholar with the participation of faculty members, students, cadets of the military department, and invited guests.

During the ceremony, participants honored the memory of Great Patriotic War veteran and honorary rector of the university, Ualiyev Yumash Karimovich, and laid flowers at the memorial plaque.

Chairman of the Board – Rector, Professor Mukhtar Adilbekovich Tolegen, delivered a welcoming speech emphasizing the significance of the heroism and labor of veterans. Professor Roza Ablakimovna Aubakirova, a student of the scholar, also shared her memories.

The main part of the event continued with a flower-laying ceremony at the monument of one of the founders of Kazakh linguistics — Sarsen Amanzholov. During the ceremony, extensive information about the scholar’s life journey and scientific heritage was presented.

In addition, Candidate of Historical Sciences Uskembai Aliya Akymkyzy delivered a speech highlighting the relevance of the scholar’s scientific legacy in modern times. Students recited dedicated poems, expressing their respect and admiration.

As part of the ceremony, flowers were also laid at the memorial plaque dedicated to the soldiers of the 30th Guards Division, paying tribute to the heroes who demonstrated courage on the battlefields.
