“QAZAQ QUIZ: MENIŃ QAZAQSTANYM” INTELLECTUAL GAME HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

In celebration of Republic Day of Kazakhstan, the Department of Ecology and Geography of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University organized the intellectual game “Qazaq Quiz: Meniń Qazaqstanym.”

Students from six educational programs of the Department and their curators took part in the event. Participants formed teams and tested their knowledge of the history, geography, and culture of Kazakhstan, national values and traditions, as well as the country’s landmarks.

The intellectual game was organized in line with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 – “Quality Education.” The event was aimed at increasing students’ cognitive engagement, broadening their horizons, developing logical thinking, and strengthening teamwork skills.

During the competition, participants demonstrated their knowledge, resourcefulness, and quick thinking. The teams actively engaged in the intellectual challenge and showed strong interest in the history, cultural heritage, and geographical diversity of Kazakhstan.

According to the results of the game, the Meridian 360 team took first place, ATOM & LIFE placed second, and GEO MIND took third place. The winners received diplomas, all participants were awarded certificates, and the team curators received letters of appreciation.

The “Qazaq Quiz: Meniń Qazaqstanym” intellectual game provided an opportunity not only to test knowledge but also to strengthen young people’s interest in the history and culture of their homeland. Such events contribute to the development of patriotism, civic responsibility, and respect for national values, bringing students together around the idea of love for their country.
