AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY LECTURER DELIVERS LECTURES TO STUDENTS IN AZERBAIJAN UNDER THE ORHUN PROGRAM
As part of the international ORHUN program, academic activities by Nurgul Shaikhanova, lecturer at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, are continuing at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
The latest class was organized for third-year students of the Finance educational program as part of the Public Finance course. The lecture entitled “The Budget System of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was delivered by Nurgul Kunafiyanovna Shaikhanova, Candidate of Economic Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Management and Finance.
During the lecture, students examined the main principles underlying the budget system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the structure of budgets, and the specific features of the budget process. Particular attention was paid to the formation of state budget revenues and expenditures, the allocation of financial resources, and interbudgetary relations.
A separate focus was placed on the role of the state budget in ensuring the country’s socio-economic development. Students explored the importance of effective financial resource management for fulfilling state functions and supporting priority areas of national development.
An important part of the lecture was a comparative analysis of the budget systems of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Students became familiar with the specific features of the budget structures of the two countries and compared approaches to budget formation and execution.
The students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions, and shared their views. Such academic meetings contribute to the exchange of knowledge and experience, deepen theoretical preparation, and strengthen understanding of the practical significance of the disciplines studied.
Delivering lectures at foreign universities within the international ORHUN program is an important area of academic mobility. The program contributes to strengthening professional and cultural ties, broadening academic horizons, and developing cooperation between universities in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
