STUDENTS OF THE MILITARY DEPARTMENT UNDERWENT LIVE FIRING AT THE FIRING RANGE

On the basis of the Military Department named after Kabanbay Batyr of East Kazakhstan University are training camps. As part of practical training, students went to the training range provided by the military unit 27943.

In the field conditions 140 students, including 15 girls, underwent live firing from AK-74 rifles, Makarov pistols and PKT machine guns. The shootings were the culmination of weeks of training at the university, where future officers and sergeants studied the basics of tactics, firearms training and military discipline.

According to a student of the Military Department, participation in combat shooting was a valuable experience.

– Today we felt like real fighters, because we were able to put into practice what we studied in theory for more than one month. I demonstrated good results. I think that each of us can safely call himself a defender of the Motherland, – said Maria Kolchina.

– Our training camps are aimed at forming practical skills of the cadets. It is especially important that the guys showed excellent results in shooting. This confirms the effectiveness of our methodology and motivation of students to serve for the good of the country, – said the head of the Military Department Alexander Kerentsev.

The training camp will continue in the coming weeks and will end with the solemn taking of the Military Oath.
