HIGHER SCHOOL OF IT AND NATURAL SCIENCES HELD ITS FIRST MEETING WITH NEW STUDENTS

On August 28, the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held an orientation meeting for first-year students.

This year, 497 students were admitted to the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences. The meeting became an important first step in introducing them to the University, the educational process, and the opportunities available to students throughout their studies.

The event was conducted by Saltanat Sailarbekkyzy Adikanova, Dean of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences. During the meeting, first-year students received essential information about the organisation of the educational process, the main areas of activity of the Higher School, the work of its departments, and the key rules of university life.

Particular attention was paid to the Platonus information system. Students were informed about the registration procedure and how to work with the system, as well as how to use its main functions required for the educational process.

The orientation meeting was also attended by the Heads of Departments of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences:

• Rimma Yerbolatovna Sakenova;

• Yedil Alibekuly Kaiyrbekov;

• Saltanat Kairatovna Aitkozhina;

• Gulnur Tashkenovna Zhunussova;

• Zhadyra Kanatkyzy Kabatayeva;

• Nazerke Rashidkyzy Sagidollina.

The first-year students were also addressed by Aliya Zhaiyrbekovna Akhmetkaliyeva, Specialist of the “Parasat” Student Service Center, and Togzhan Zheniskyzy Tanirbergenova, Deputy Dean for Educational Affairs of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences.

During the meeting, students had an opportunity to receive answers to important questions, learn more about their Higher School and its faculty members, and become familiar with the opportunities available to them during their studies.
