STUDENTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY TOOK PART IN THE “QUIZ” INTELLECTUAL GAME DEDICATED TO WORLD EARTH DAY

The Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, the Department of Ecology and Geography, and the East Kazakhstan regional branch of the “Baitaq” party jointly organized an environmental clean-up event dedicated to the International Day for Monuments and Sites.

The event took place at the “Zheltoksanshylar Alauy” monument square.

The main purpose of the clean-up event was to promote environmental awareness, preserve historical and cultural heritage, and strengthen young people’s sense of responsibility for their native land.

Second- and third-year students of the educational programs 6B05202 “Ecology” and 6B05203 “Hydroecology, Management and Transboundary Water Security” actively participated in the event and contributed to the cleaning and improvement of the area.

Such environmental initiatives not only increase students’ civic engagement, but also contribute to the development of a conscious attitude toward nature protection and the promotion of sustainable development ideas.
