ATHLETES OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY DEMONSTRATED OUTSTANDING RESULTS AT THE ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

From May 12 to 15, the Asian Kettlebell Sport Championship was held in Aktau, Mangystau Region. More than 300 athletes from 9 countries took part in the large-scale competition, competing for the title of the strongest. Athletes of AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, representing the honor of Kazakhstan, demonstrated outstanding results and won prize places.

Among the women, on the first day of the competition in the “long cycle” discipline, Aiganym Yerzhanova won II place, while Aisulu Shadenova took I place. On the second day, in the “jerk” exercise, Aiganym Yerzhanova once again became a silver medalist, and Aisulu Shadenova again claimed the champion’s title. On the third day, in the “snatch” discipline, Aiganym Yerzhanova rose to I place, while Aisulu Shadenova also showed the best result and won the gold medal. The coach of the women’s team is Zhadyra Kanapiyanova.

Among the men, the university athletes also performed brilliantly. On the first day in the “long cycle” discipline, Alisher Serikbek won I place, Nurym Didaruly took II place, and Nurbolsyn Bakhytbek secured I place. On the second day in the “jerk” exercise, Alisher Serikbek and Nurbolsyn Bakhytbek confidently achieved victory and won I places. On the third day, in the “snatch” discipline, Alisher Serikbek, Nurym Didaruly, and Nurbolsyn Bakhytbek became champions and won gold medals.

These victories at the Asian Championship became the result of the hard work, willpower, and perseverance of our athletes. Young people who proudly represent the country on the international stage are the pride not only of the university, but of all Kazakhstan!
