MAZHILIS DEPUTY UNZILA SHAPAK AWARDED THE TITLE OF HONORARY PROFESSOR OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY.

As part of the scientific and practical conference “The New Constitution of Kazakhstan: Institutional Changes and the Development of a Rule-of-Law State,” held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Unzila Shapak, Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Doctor of Law, was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the University.

During the official ceremony, the university leadership highlighted Unzila Shapak’s significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s legal system, the advancement of legal science, and the promotion of legal awareness among young people.

In her address at the conference, Unzila Shapak spoke about the importance of constitutional reforms in the development of society, the strengthening of the rule of law, and the protection of citizens’ rights. She also emphasized the role of legal culture and active civic engagement among young people in building a just and democratic society.

The event brought together representatives of the judiciary, law enforcement agencies, academia, civil society organizations, and students. Participants discussed current issues related to the improvement of legal institutions, the development of constitutional oversight, and the promotion of the rule of law.

It is worth noting that Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University actively cooperates with public figures, scholars, and representatives of government institutions, systematically implementing initiatives aimed at strengthening legal education and civic awareness among young people.
