HIGHER SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND LAW HELD AN ORIENTATION MEETING FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

On August 27, 2026, Amanzholov University held an orientation meeting for first-year students of the Higher School of Business and Law with representatives of the School and faculty members from its departments.

This year, 193 first-year students were admitted to the Higher School of Business and Law. The meeting became an important first introduction to the university environment, the specifics of the educational process, and the main rules governing academic activities.

The first-year students were addressed by Aigul Slyamgaliyevna Assubayeva, Deputy Dean of the Higher School of Business and Law; Laila Kumarbekovna Saduakassova, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence; Gainiy Kassymovna Koishinova, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Finance and Management; Samal Dauletovna Duisembayeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Jurisprudence; Ainur Serikhanovna Ramazanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Jurisprudence; and Marianna Ivanovna Dyachuk, Associate Professor and Candidate of Legal Sciences.

During the meeting, the students received information on academic and educational activities and were introduced to the main rules and requirements related to the educational process and student life.

Particular attention was paid to practical issues that students will encounter from their first days of study. The first-year students were introduced to the Platonus electronic educational system and informed about its main functions and the procedures for using it in the learning process.

An important part of the meeting was devoted to the adaptation of first-year students. They were informed about whom they could contact regarding organisational and academic matters, while the importance of independence, responsibility, and compliance with established rules was also emphasised.

Such meetings help first-year students receive essential information from the very beginning of their studies, better navigate the university system, and adapt more quickly to this new stage of their education.
