AI, BUSINESS AND TOURISM: STARTUP BATTLE HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Amanzholov University hosted an interactive event entitled “Startup Battle: AI, Money, Business and Tourism,” bringing together students from the educational programmes “Economics and Management,” “Finance and Accounting,” and “Tourism.”

The event was moderated by Alima Kabdulyashimovna Alipova, Head of the “Dana Bala” Center for Continuing and Inclusive Education, and Aigul Slyamgaliyevna Assubayeva, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, and Deputy Dean for Educational Affairs of the Higher School of Business and Law.

During the event, the young researchers presented ideas for mobile applications and digital services, developed the key elements of business models, carried out initial financial calculations, applied economic terms and analytical tools to justify their projects, explored the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in entrepreneurial activities, and presented and defended their own project solutions.

An important component of the event was the participation of senior students as experts and evaluators. They asked participants questions, analysed the projects presented, and provided constructive feedback. This format contributed to the development of project management skills, public presentation abilities, and the capacity to defend one’s ideas with well-reasoned arguments.

The Startup Battle became a platform for professional interaction between students of different years of study, the exchange of experience, and the development of communication within the educational process.

Events of this kind contribute to the development of entrepreneurial and innovative thinking among students, strengthen a practice-oriented approach to learning, and help form competencies that are in demand in the modern economy.
