AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HOSTED A REGIONAL DISCUSSION OF KASSYM-JOMART TOKAYEV’S BOOK “A SINCERE WORD FOR A JUST SOCIETY”

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University hosted a regional discussion of the book “A Sincere Word for a Just Society” by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The event was attended by The Chairman of the Board – Rector Gulzhan Jarassova, Deputy Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Aidar Serikkazyuly Sadyrbayev, Director of the East Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aigul Kauatayevna, faculty members, and students.

The discussion focused on key issues related to the country’s development addressed in the President’s book. Particular attention was paid to building a just society, strengthening the rule of law, improving public administration, developing science and education, and increasing civic responsibility.

Veteran lecturer, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences and Associate Professor Gulsim Safuanovna Bektasova delivered a presentation entitled “A Just Society and a Strong State: The President’s Historical Mission in Strengthening the Country’s Sovereignty.” In her presentation, she discussed the significance of the principles outlined by the Head of State for the further development of independent Kazakhstan.

Director of the East Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aigul Kauatayevna addressed issues of effective public administration, a professional civil service, openness, and accountability to citizens.

Member of the Board – Vice Rector for Research, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Yessenbek Zhumagali Beisenbayev presented a report entitled “The Role of Science in the Development of the Country in Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s Book ‘A Sincere Word for a Just Society’.” The presentation highlighted the role of scientific potential in ensuring the sustainable development of the country.

Senior Lecturer and Candidate of Legal Sciences Gulmira Toleubekovna Bairkenova spoke about the relationship between law, responsibility, and social stability. Her presentation was entitled “Constitution – Law – Responsibility: Three Pillars of a Just Society.”

A youth perspective on the main ideas of the book was presented by Ultu Muratbekkyzy, a fourth-year student of the History educational program. In her presentation, “The Image of Youth in the President’s Book and the Adal Azamat Concept,” she shared her reflections on the role of the younger generation in public life and the importance of civic values.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on incorporating the priorities outlined in the book into the educational process, developing an active civic position among students, and promoting the values of the Adal Azamat concept.

The regional discussion held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University became a significant event for the university community and highlighted the University’s role as a platform for open dialogue, intellectual exchange, and discussion of current issues of social development.
