AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY DELEGATION TOOK PART IN A BUSINESS VISIT TO CHINA

From September 7 to 12, 2026, a delegation from Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took part in a business visit to Fuzhou, Fujian Province, People’s Republic of China.

The delegation included Vice Rector for Economic Affairs and Digitalization Yerkan Mukazhanov and Director of the Center for Information and Technical Support and Digitalization Balgyn Dildebay. The visit was organized by the Kazakhstan Research and Education Networking Association (KazRENA) and Ruijie Networks, one of China’s leading developers of networking equipment and digital solutions for educational institutions.

The programme focused on exploring modern approaches to the digital transformation of higher education, the development of IT infrastructure, and the creation of a modern educational environment. Participants were introduced to technological developments in network infrastructure, wireless technologies, cloud services, and intelligent university network management.

Particular attention was paid to the application of artificial intelligence in infrastructure management and educational processes. At the headquarters, research and development center, and manufacturing facilities of Ruijie Networks, the delegation was introduced to predictive monitoring and automated network management systems, traffic analysis and cybersecurity tools, as well as technologies for personalized learning and educational data processing.

The participants also explored opportunities for the use of AI within a digital campus environment. The solutions presented included intelligent access and resource management, voice and chat assistants for students and faculty, adaptive learning and education quality assessment tools, as well as video surveillance and classroom monitoring systems.

An important part of the programme was a visit to Fuzhou University and Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The delegation learned about best practices in developing digital educational environments, organizing campus networks, and integrating modern technologies into university operations.

During the meetings, Chinese specialists presented approaches to the use of artificial intelligence in teaching, research, and administrative management. In particular, the discussions covered large language models, intelligent decision-support systems, and platforms for educational data analysis. The delegation also exchanged experience with university administrators and relevant specialists, resulting in the establishment of direct contacts for further cooperation.

Participation in the business visit enabled representatives of Amanzholov University to explore current trends in the digital transformation of higher education, become familiar with advanced technological solutions, and identify promising areas for the further development of the University’s IT infrastructure, digital educational environment, and the application of artificial intelligence in its educational, research, and administrative activities.
