AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HOSTED A REGIONAL FORUM ON IMPROVING CHILDREN’S QUALITY OF LIFE

On August 29, 2026, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University hosted the regional forum “From Early Diagnosis and Interdisciplinary Support to Improving the Quality of Life of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Speech Development Delay.”

The event was organised as part of the joint work of Amanzholov University and Medical Center JYLU and brought together specialists involved in supporting children with special educational and other needs.

The forum was attended by representatives of the education, healthcare, and social protection sectors. The professional discussion focused on early diagnosis, timely intervention, and comprehensive support for children with autism spectrum disorder and speech development delay.

Particular attention was paid to interagency cooperation and coordinated work among specialists, as a comprehensive approach makes it possible to identify developmental needs at an early stage, determine appropriate support measures, and create conditions for a child’s full development, education, and socialisation.
