AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY INTRODUCES AIFC MINOR PROGRAMS

A ceremony was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University for the transfer of minor programs developed by the Academy of the Astana International Financial Centre. The programs are aimed at studying current trends in the financial sector and enhancing students’ competitiveness.

The minor programs are short-term certification courses lasting from three to four months. Among them are “Derivative Securities – Options,” “Asset Management,” “Financial Market Regulation,” and “Resolution of International Commercial Disputes.”

Project Manager of the AIFC Academy Aigul Kazbekova noted that the programs are focused on practical skills and help students adapt more quickly to market demands. In turn, Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University Mukhtar Tolegen emphasized the importance of implementing modern educational standards and expressed gratitude to the partners for their cooperation.

The initiative was implemented with the support of Freedom Holding Corp. and the corporate foundation Freedom Shapagat Foundation. The minor programs are expected to begin in the next academic year, providing students with additional opportunities for professional growth.
