AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATED IN THE AUGUST CONFERENCE AT AKORDA

An August Conference was held at Akorda, during which current issues related to the socio-political, socio-economic, and educational development of the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed. Faculty members of Amanzholov University took part in the conference.

During the event, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the main priorities for the country’s further development, focusing on key transformations and the major tasks facing the state and society.

Particular attention in the Head of State’s address was given to the historic significance of the first elections to the unicameral Kurultai. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that this stage opens a new chapter in Kazakhstan’s political development and lays the foundation for the further improvement of state institutions.

The President also outlined the directions of forthcoming political transformations, including the establishment of new state institutions, the improvement of the public administration system, and the implementation of planned reforms.

A significant part of the address was devoted to the socio-economic development of the regions. Issues related to the implementation of infrastructure and social projects, the improvement of settlements, enhancing the quality of the urban environment, and the further development of the nationwide “Taza Kazakhstan” initiative were also discussed.

Special attention was paid to education and human capital development. A modern higher education system is one of the key factors in the country’s sustainable development, ensuring the training of qualified professionals, the advancement of scientific potential, and the development of professional competencies among the younger generation.

For Amanzholov University, participation in the August Conference is of significant professional and public importance.
