AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY RECEIVES OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE OF FULL MEMBERSHIP IN TURKUNIB

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University has received an official certificate confirming its status as a full member of the Turkic Universities Union (TURKUNIB), which operates within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.

The University joined TURKUNIB on November 23, 2022. The decision to admit Amanzholov University to the Union was approved at the 6th General Assembly held in Turkistan.

Membership in TURKUNIB opens new opportunities for the University to develop international cooperation. In particular, it provides opportunities to participate in the work of the General Assembly, joint educational and research projects, specialized working groups, international conferences, and scientific publications. It also creates additional opportunities to expand the academic mobility of students and faculty members, including through the Orhun Exchange Program.

The official membership certificate was issued in Istanbul on September 1, 2026. The document formally confirms Amanzholov University’s full membership in the international association of universities of the Turkic world.

Membership in TURKUNIB strengthens Amanzholov University’s international position, promotes cooperation among higher education institutions, and creates additional opportunities for integration into the shared educational and scientific space of the Turkic states.

Amanzholov University will continue its systematic work to expand international partnerships, develop academic mobility, and implement joint initiatives with higher education institutions across the Turkic world.
