The international TourEast ALTAI KZ festival, dedicated to World Tourism Day, was held at the Left Bank Ethnopark in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Guests from 17 countries attended the festival. Faculty members and students also took part in the event.

Students of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University participated in the festival as volunteers and interpreters. They accompanied international guests, assisted with the organization of festival venues, and facilitated communication between participants.

The international format of the festival gave students an opportunity to apply their foreign language skills and intercultural communication abilities in real-life situations. Practical experience in interacting with representatives of different countries complemented their academic training and contributed to their professional development.

For University students, participation in such projects is also an important part of the social and cultural life of the region, providing opportunities to develop teamwork, communication, and volunteering skills.

East Kazakhstan has significant potential for the development of domestic and international tourism. Involving young people in international projects contributes to the development of a new generation of specialists capable of representing the region and interacting effectively with visitors from different countries.

At the end of the festival, students who contributed to its organization received certificates recognizing their participation and contribution to the event.

The University expresses its gratitude to the festival organizers and the Akimat of East Kazakhstan Region for providing students with the opportunity to take part in this significant international event.
