AN ENVIRONMENT FOR QUALITY EDUCATION: KEY UNIVERSITY FACILITIES IN FOCUS

The Chairman of the Board – Rector Jarassova Gulzhan Sagidullaevna of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University reviewed the activities of several important University facilities.

Quality education extends far beyond classrooms. Laboratories that create opportunities for scientific research, a printing house that supports the publication of academic works, and sports facilities that promote an active lifestyle among students are all important components of a modern university environment.

As part of the working visit, the Rector reviewed the activities of the “Berel” Printing House. It produces the University’s scientific, educational, methodological, and informational materials. The printing house plays an important role in publishing the works of researchers and faculty members, enabling the results of educational and scientific activities to reach a wider audience.

The fitness centre also plays an important role in the development of the student environment. It provides opportunities for students to engage in sports and increase their level of physical activity. The Rector reviewed the facilities available at the centre and emphasised its importance in promoting a healthy lifestyle among students.

Particular attention was also paid to the research laboratory. The Rector reviewed the research being conducted there and the opportunities available for scientific work. Such research facilities not only strengthen the University’s scientific potential, but also create opportunities for students and young researchers to become actively involved in research activities.

Although the printing house, fitness centre, and research laboratory serve different purposes, each contributes to the University’s common development goals. One supports the publication of educational and scientific materials, another promotes an active lifestyle among students, while the third creates opportunities for new scientific research.

During the review of these facilities, their current capabilities and prospects for further development were considered. The Rector issued appropriate instructions to the responsible specialists regarding the effective use of University spaces, improvement of operational quality, and creation of comfortable conditions for students.
