INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION (IAAR): AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HOSTS AN EXTERNAL EXPERT COMMISSION

From April 23 to 25, 2026, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University hosted a visit from an external expert commission of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) as part of the international specialized (programmatic) accreditation procedure for educational programs.

The External Expert Commission included leading national and international specialists in education, science, and academic quality assurance. The Chair of the EEC was Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Gulnara Turtkaraeva. International expert participation was provided by Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Valeriu Bordan from the Republic of Moldova.

The commission also included experts from leading universities and research organizations in Kazakhstan, as well as employers and students, ensuring a comprehensive and independent assessment of the quality of the university’s educational programs.

International accreditation by IAAR is an important milestone in the university’s development, confirming that its educational programs meet international quality standards, academic transparency requirements, and modern higher education benchmarks.

The accreditation process further contributes to strengthening the academic reputation of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, expanding international cooperation, and enhancing the competitiveness of graduates in the global labor market.
