On May 13, 2026, the prestigious Kickboxing World Cup Championship took place in Antalya, Turkey, bringing together the strongest athletes from different countries. The true triumphator of the international tournament became first-year student of the “Physical Culture and Sports” educational program at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University — Mansur Zhumazhan, who won the title of Kickboxing World Cup Champion.
On his path to victory, the young athlete fought three intense matches against representatives of Turkey and demonstrated a high level of preparation, strength of character, endurance, and true fighting spirit in every bout. His confident performances allowed him to rise to the highest step of the podium and proudly represent not only the university, but also Kazakhstan on the international stage.
According to the champion himself, his choice of kickboxing was a conscious one:
“I chose this sport because I see prospects and a future in it. Of course, I felt enormous support from my classmates and teachers. Thank you very much!
