MILITARY DEPARTMENT STUDENTS COMPLETE COMBAT TRAINING AT THE AKHMER TRAINING GROUND

Students of the Kabanbay Batyr Military Department of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University have successfully completed their field training course at the Akhmer military training ground of Military Unit 27953.

During the field exercise, future reserve officers and non-commissioned officers mastered essential combat training skills in practice. The students performed initial firing exercises with the AK-74 assault rifle and Exercise No. 1 with the Makarov pistol, honing their small arms handling skills.

In addition, as part of the field exercises, practical combat vehicle driving sessions were organized, allowing students to learn the fundamentals of operating military hardware. Live-fire drills from combat vehicles were also conducted to develop skills in the effective deployment of vehicle-mounted weapons under simulated combat conditions.

Such practical exercises not only reinforce students’ theoretical knowledge but also foster military discipline, accountability, and the ability to make sound decisions in non-standard and extreme situations. The field training served as an essential stage in the professional development of future military specialists, aimed at enhancing their expertise, hands-on skills, and readiness to defend the homeland.
