PATRIOTIC EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AS A FOUNDATION FOR DEVELOPMENT

The Chairman of the Board – Rector Jarassova Gulzhan Sagidullaevna of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University visited Academic Building No. 2 and reviewed the organisation of the educational process and the opportunities created for students.

The building houses the Kabanbay Batyr Military Department, as well as departments responsible for training future teachers in the areas of “Music Education,” “Physical Education,” and “Initial Military Training.” The necessary educational and material resources have been established here, enabling students to effectively combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

During the visit, classrooms, specialised facilities, and areas designed for practical training and military-sports activities were presented. Particular attention was paid to the opportunities required for developing the professional competencies of future specialists.

At the Kabanbay Batyr Military Department, students are trained under programmes for reserve officers and reserve sergeants. Currently, 102 students are enrolled in these programmes. In accordance with the curriculum, they undergo field training exercises at the Akhmer training ground.

The University places great importance not only on physical and military-applied training, but also on fostering patriotism, discipline, responsibility, and civic maturity among young people. Traditional approaches are being complemented by digital solutions and artificial intelligence tools, which are being gradually integrated into the educational process.

Following the visit, further steps were identified to develop the educational infrastructure, expand opportunities for students’ practical training, and strengthen the material and technical resources of Academic Building No. 2.
