PROFESSOR OF UNEC CONDUCTED A COURSE ON COGNITIVE ECONOMICS AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Within the framework of the cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), an author’s course by invited professor MANSUR ISA OGLY BARKHUDAROV titled “COGNITIVE POTENTIAL OF THE POPULATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY AND SOCIETY” has been conducted since May 12, 2026, at the Resource Center for Professional Training and Advanced Qualification of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

The aim of the course is to form a systematic understanding of the role of the population’s cognitive potential in the development of the digital economy, as well as to develop skills for its assessment, management, and improvement.

The course structure consists of 9 modules:

1. Theoretical foundations of cognitive potential.

2. Digital economy and transformation of thinking.

3. Assessment of cognitive potential.

4. Development of cognitive skills.

5. Development policies and strategies.

6. Cognitive potential and artificial intelligence.

7. Cognitive analytics and the data-driven approach.

8. Organizational and corporate level of cognitive potential.

9. Research and project module.

During the course, the following issues were discussed:
• раскрытие сущности cognitive capital;
• studying the impact of digitalization on human thinking;
• mastering tools for assessing cognitive skills;
• forming approaches to the development of human capital;
• applying artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the educational process.

At the end of the course, the author of the program personally presented certificates to the university’s faculty members.
