REGULAR MEETING OF THE ETHICS COMMISSION HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a regular meeting of the Ethics Commission responsible for reviewing dissertation research submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

During the meeting, the Commission reviewed the materials of two doctoral students preparing for the upcoming defense of their doctoral dissertations. Commission members conducted a comprehensive assessment of the submitted documents for compliance with established requirements, paying particular attention to the principles of academic integrity, research ethics, and responsible conduct in scientific research.

The work of the Ethics Commission is an important component of the University’s research quality assurance system. Its activities are aimed at ensuring compliance with academic standards, strengthening researchers’ responsibility, and promoting ethical principles within the scientific community.

It was also noted that the terms of office of two dissertation councils of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University in the fields of study 8D015 “Teacher Training in Natural Science Subjects” and 8D053 “Physical and Chemical Sciences” have been extended until 2029.

The extension of the dissertation councils’ terms of office contributes to the further development of the University’s research activities, the training of highly qualified researchers, and the strengthening of its scientific potential.
