REPRESENTATIVES OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY CONTRIBUTED TO A HISTORICAL INITIATIVE AT THE “ALAMAN QURAQ” FESTIVAL

In honor of Family Day, the “Alaman Quraq” festival was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk, becoming a significant spiritual and cultural event dedicated to national values. As part of the large-scale event, an attempt to set a world record was organized, and residents and guests of the city witnessed a historic moment.

About 800 artisans from 17 regions of the country took part in the festival. Together, they unfolded a patchwork quilt stretching 2 kilometers in length. This initiative, aimed at promoting traditional Kazakh handicraft art, vividly highlighted the continuity of traditions and the national spirit.

Employees and students of Amanzholov University also actively participated in this large-scale event. Representatives of the university contributed to the promotion of national cultural heritage and the support of socially significant initiatives.

The festival, celebrating Kazakh identity and national heritage, made a strong impression on participants. In addition, the event was aimed at increasing young people’s interest in national values and strengthening the connection between traditions and modern society.

It is noted that the unfolded 2-kilometer patchwork quilt may be included in the International “Global Best of Records” book. The official result is expected today.
