STEP TOWARDS SPACE: THE CREATIVE WORLD OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, on the basis of the Center for Continuous and Inclusive Education “Dana bala”, within the framework of the “Armandar kerueni” project, a drawing and arts and crafts competition on the theme “Ғарыш – Space” was held for children with special educational needs (SEN).

The competition featured more than 200 creative works submitted by children aged 6 to 18 studying in schools across the East Kazakhstan Region. Through their works, the participants demonstrated an interest in space, science, and the surrounding world, as well as vivid imagination and creativity.

The event was dedicated to Science Day and served as an effective platform for involving children with special needs in a creative and educational environment. In addition, this initiative allowed them to develop their abilities, interact more actively with society, and freely express themselves.

The main goal of the competition is to develop the creative potential of children with special educational needs, increase interest in science and space, as well as support their social activity and create equal opportunities.

Such initiatives contribute to the development of an inclusive educational environment and once again confirm that every child can fully participate in the life of society.
