A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WAS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

A regular meeting of the Board of Directors was held at Amanzholov University, during which key issues related to the university’s strategic development and corporate governance were discussed. Chairman of the Board of Directors Amirkhan Rakhimzhanov specially arrived to participate in the meeting.

One of the main agenda items was the approval of the report on the implementation of the Society Development Plan for 2025–2029 for the year 2025. Participants discussed the results of the planned tasks aimed at improving the quality of education, developing scientific activity, and strengthening the university’s position within the country’s educational space.

The meeting also considered the issue of fulfilling the key performance indicators of the members of the Board for 2025 and the payment of corresponding remuneration. The Board of Directors evaluated the effectiveness of the university management’s work based on the reporting period results.

Within the framework of the meeting, tuition fees for the 2026–2027 academic year were approved. The decision was made taking into account the further development of educational infrastructure, the introduction of modern learning technologies, and the improvement of the quality of educational services provided.

Special attention was paid to the establishment of the “Endowment of East Kazakhstan University” target capital fund. The initiative is aimed at creating sustainable financial support for the university’s educational, scientific, and social projects, as well as developing long-term partnerships.

In addition, amendments were made to the regulations on remuneration and bonuses for the Chairman and members of the Board. The meeting also adopted a decision to conduct a self-assessment of the activities of the Board of Directors, its committees and members, as well as an assessment of the activities of the Board, the corporate secretary, the anti-corruption compliance service, and the internal audit service.

The meeting became an important stage in implementing the strategic objectives of Amanzholov University aimed at increasing management efficiency, ensuring transparency of activities, and further developing the university.
