The "Til Alemi" Multilingual Education Center was established based on Order No. 59-p dated March 7, 2017, under the Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University.

The "Til Alemi" Center possesses all the necessary resources to effectively carry out educational activities for students, university staff, and the general public interested in language learning, offering courses in Kazakh, English, Italian, Turkish, and Korean languages.

The courses are taught by experienced instructors who have been educating students for many years

  • The Center’s teachers are proficient in modern methods and technologies of foreign language teaching, and are the authors of educational technologies and methodologies in the field.
  • The Center is equipped with all necessary resources for teaching foreign languages: textbooks, study guides, dictionaries, and audio-visual materials.
  • Our students have various motivations and goals: admission to graduate and doctoral programs, preparation for international exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, ITB/IBT, employment opportunities, or simply a passion for learning foreign languages.
  • For each student, the Center provides an individualized learning pace and a flexible schedule. Students can choose between individual or group study formats.

The Center for Multilingual Education "Til Alemi" undertakes a manifold of endeavors dedicated to the advancement and advocacy of multilingual education and the celebration of cultural diversity

Linguistic Instruction

Offering a diverse array of language courses tailored for students, university personnel, and the broader populace, encompassing various proficiency levels, from novice to adept. Additionally, the center provides specialized coaching for international examinations such as IELTS and TOEFL ITB/IBT.

Intercultural Enlightenment

Orchestrating gatherings and initiatives aimed at fostering mutual comprehension and reverence for diverse cultures through the exploration of languages, literature, artistic expressions, and customs.

Linguistic Repositories

Facilitating access to linguistic reservoirs including libraries, online curricula, and assorted language learning materials.

Global Collaboration

Engaging in collaborative ventures with fellow universities and educational institutions both within Kazakhstan and abroad, facilitating student and faculty exchanges, orchestrating joint research endeavors, and coalescing on educational programs.

Consultation and Aid

Extending guidance and support to students grappling with linguistic and cultural studies, as well as furnishing assistance in resolving linguistic quandaries.

01Language Programs

Our foreign language courses are divided into six main levels, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): starting from A1 up to the advanced C2 level.

Upon enrollment, the Center assesses the student’s language level and develops an individualized or specialized program for intensive language acquisition.

At the end of the course, all students who successfully complete the program receive a certificate from Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University.

03Description of Language Programs

The Intensive Course in Kazakh/English/Turkish/Korean/Italian consists of 4 levels: A1, A2, B1, B2. Each level is designed for 40 hours.

The course goal is to develop basic (elementary) proficiency, followed by fluent language usage.

Conversation Practice (Level-based Approach)

This course focuses on developing conversational skills in various communication situations. It will expand vocabulary and allow students to communicate fluently in the foreign language.

Preparation for International Exams (IELTS, TOEFL, ITB/IBT)
