AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY: A CREATIVE MEETING WITH AIMUKHAMBET ZHANAT ASKERBEKKYZY WAS HELD

On April 29, 2026, a creative meeting was held with the famous poetess, literary scholar, Honored Figure of Kazakhstan, and laureate of the International “Alash” Literary Prize, Aimukhambet Zhanat Askerbekkyzy.

The moderator of the meeting was the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Professor Tolegen Mukhtar Adilbekovich. Students and faculty members of the university took part in the event.

Before the beginning of the evening, participants were shown a video dedicated to the poetess’s creative work. Afterwards, the student theater “Shabyt” presented the literary composition “The Poetics of the Poet,” while the author’s poems were recited and songs were performed.

Rector Tolegen Mukhtar Adilbekovich delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the guest’s significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature.

The Head of the East Kazakhstan branch of the Writers’ Union, Honored Figure of Kazakhstan Alibek Kaliuly Kantarbayev, and poetess Bakhytzhan Mukhtarkhankyzy Raiysova also addressed the audience, highly praising the work of Zhanat Askerbekkyzy.

During the meeting, the guest shared her creative journey, reflections on literature, and answered students’ questions. Young participants actively engaged in the open dialogue by asking questions of interest. Congratulatory letters from schools and colleges of the city were also read aloud.

At the end of the event, the student music group “Aitumar” delivered a musical performance. The meeting was held in a warm and inspiring atmosphere, leaving vivid impressions on all participants.
