AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY DISCUSSED THE “LAW AND ORDER” CONCEPT
A round table on the topic “The New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Current Issues in the Implementation of the ‘Law and Order’ Concept” was held at the Department of Economic Investigations for the East Kazakhstan Region. The event was organized jointly by the university’s Department of Law and the department.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss reforms within the framework of the new Constitution, analyze legal mechanisms for implementing the principle of “Law and Order,” and strengthen the connection between science and practice.
The round table brought together legal scholars, department staff, representatives of the legal community, and students. The session was opened by the head of the department, Arman Zhunisov, who emphasized the importance of the “Law and Order” principle in state policy.
During the discussion, university professors and researchers presented reports on the new architecture of state power, the model of a human-centered state, constitutional guarantees, and the principles of the rule of law. Issues related to the formation of a new system of governance, ensuring citizens’ rights, and the constitutional foundations of the “Law and Order” principle were also considered.
In addition, an attorney from the regional bar association, Kaltay Kaliakapparov, delivered a presentation on the constitutional status of the legal profession and legal guarantees in criminal proceedings.
Participants discussed ways to strengthen the rule of law, effectively implement constitutional reforms, and ensure citizens’ legal protections.
The round table served as an important platform for professional dialogue and exchange of views, contributing to the strengthening of interaction between academic research and law enforcement practice, as well as the development of legal culture and the promotion of constitutional values.
