AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HELD A MEETING OF THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL

A meeting of the Academic Council was held at Amanzholov University, during which key issues related to the organisation of the educational process for the 2026–2027 academic year were considered.

The agenda included the organisation of the educational process, the plan for the first-year student orientation week, an issue related to an educational programme, as well as the preliminary results of student enrolment for 2026.

The first agenda item was presented by Acting Chairman of the Board – Rector Rovnyakova Irina Vladimirovna. During her report, information was provided on the organisation of the educational process for the 2026–2027 academic year, as well as on the work of the University’s structural units in this area.

Particular attention during the Academic Council meeting was paid to the adaptation of first-year students to the university environment. Yerzhan Bagdanovich Domalatov, Director of the Department of Academic Policy and Educational Programme Management, presented the plan for the orientation week.

As part of the orientation week, a range of activities will be organised for first-year students to introduce them to the University’s academic environment, explain the key features of the educational process, provide essential information, and support their adaptation to university life.

In addition, the Academic Council considered the issue of changing the group of educational programmes in the Register of Educational Programmes for the programme “7M01402 Vocational Education, Artistic Labour and Graphics.” Information on this matter was presented by Yerzhan Bagdanovich Domalatov.

Another important item on the agenda was the preliminary results of student enrolment for 2026. Leyla Tolebayevna Baizhumanova, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, delivered a report on this matter.

During the meeting, the participants considered issues aimed at ensuring the effective organisation of the educational process at the University, supporting students’ adaptation to the academic environment, improving educational programmes, and forming the student body.

The meeting emphasised the importance of systematic work in these areas and of ensuring the quality of the educational process at the University.
