AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY: ISTANBUL FAIR OPENS NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTEGRATION INTO THE GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL LANDSCAPE

From July 24 to July 26, 2026, the international educational exhibition EKET FAIRS University Preference Fair 2026 took place in Istanbul, Türkiye, under the national initiative Study in Kazakhstan. The large-scale event brought together leading universities worldwide, thousands of prospective students, and education professionals, serving as an effective platform for fostering international collaboration in higher education.

Annually drawing over 50,000 applicants and parents, this year’s fair featured more than 110 universities from Türkiye alongside prominent higher education institutions from Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia, Poland, the Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Ireland, and Russia. Kazakhstan was represented by eight universities, showcasing the potential of the national higher education system, modern degree programs, and international partnership opportunities.

During the event, the Kazakh delegation held productive meetings with leadership from Istanbul Technical University, Biruni University, Istanbul Nişantaşı University, and the Turkish Water Institute (SUEN). Discussions centered on expanding academic mobility, implementing dual-degree programs, advancing joint research initiatives, sharing best practices, and building new institutional partnerships.

International educational fairs help elevate Kazakhstan’s higher education sector globally, establish new collaborative ties, and raise international student interest in studying in the country. Such venues offer an expansive stage to present universities’ research capabilities, academic curricula, and international initiatives.
