AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY SCHOLARS PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL INITIATIVE TO EXPLAIN CONSTITUTIONAL REFORMS

With the participation of Sayanat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a meeting was held to discuss the scientific interpretation of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the development of constitutional and legal culture in society.

The event brought together scholars and experts from leading higher education institutions across the country, as well as academic staff who participated in the development of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its scientific interpretation.

Representing Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University were Irina Vladimirovna Rovnyakova, Deputy Chairman of the Board – Vice Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation; Laila Kumarbekovna Saduakasova, Head of the Department and Senior Lecturer; and Associate Professors and Candidates of Legal Sciences Zhanna Yesimbekovna Sadykanova, Marianna Ivanovna Dyachuk, and Gulmira Toleubekovna Bayyrkenova.

During the meeting, participants discussed issues related to the scientific interpretation of the 2026 Constitution, the broad public explanation of its fundamental principles, and the development of a comprehensive programme aimed at improving citizens’ legal literacy and constitutional and legal culture. The participants also identified the role of the academic community in implementing this work, the contribution of higher education institutions to legal education, and priority areas for further cooperation.

Amanzholov University will continue to actively participate in national initiatives aimed at strengthening the principles of the rule of law, advancing legal science, and developing the legal culture of society, effectively utilizing the academic potential of its scholars for the benefit of the country.
