AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY’S INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT IMPLEMENTED IN KARAGANDA REGION

A specialized defectologist’s workstation with an integrated diagnostic application, developed by specialists of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, has been provided for use by the Regional Psychological, Medical and Pedagogical Consultation under the Department of Education of Karaganda Region.

The innovative product was developed as part of the commercialization project “Center for Competence in Psychological and Pedagogical Training and Methodological and Technological Support for Children with Special Educational Needs,” implemented from 2023 to 2025.

The specialized defectologist’s workstation is a modern tool designed to facilitate effective diagnosis and correctional and developmental support for children with special educational needs. The integrated specialized software helps improve the quality of comprehensive assessment and support for children. In addition, the development promotes the wider adoption of digital technologies in the practice of special and inclusive educational organizations.

Project developers Dosym Erbolatovich and Rauan Baichinov delivered the equipment to Karaganda and handed it over to the institution’s specialists. During their working visit, they provided consultations on the operation of the diagnostic application and recommendations for the effective use of the equipment.

The implementation of the University’s scientific development in the activities of the Regional Psychological, Medical and Pedagogical Consultation is an important step toward advancing modern technologies for supporting children with special educational needs. The project also demonstrates the high potential of Amanzholov University researchers to translate research results into practical applications and highlights the importance of scientific innovations that serve the interests of society.
