AN EXTERNAL IQAA AUDIT WAS CONDUCTED AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

On May 4–5, an external audit by the expert group of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) was conducted at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University within the framework of program accreditation of the following educational programs:

• 6B01703 “Foreign Languages: Two Foreign Languages”
• 6B06101 “Robotics and Artificial Intelligence”
• 7M04111 “Management of Tourist Destinations and Sustainable Development”
• 7M04109 “Healthcare Management”

During the visit, the experts familiarized themselves with the university’s activities and held meetings with the university administration, heads of structural divisions, deans, department heads, faculty members, students, graduates, and employers.

As part of the audit program, presentations of the university’s digital educational environment and LMS platform were conducted, along with visual inspections of the material and technical base, specialized laboratories, and classrooms. The experts also visited internship bases and attended classes within the accredited educational programs.

The expert group paid special attention to issues related to the quality of the educational process, academic policy, international cooperation, digitalization, scientific activity, and the university’s interaction with employers.

Following the audit, the experts summarized the preliminary results and presented recommendations to the university leadership regarding the further development of educational programs and improvement of specialist training quality.
